HitFilm Express is a feature rich video mixing software for Windows. It lets you mix and synchronize different media files in order to create a desired video mix. Using its timeline, you can add multiple overlayed tracks to make video mix and make precise adjustments to media items.
How to make video mix in HitFilm Express
- At first, you need to import media files to this software from its Media tab. You can add images, videos, and audio to a video project. After importing, drag media files to the Timeline.
- Now, using the timeline, you can make adjustments to each added media file. You can synchronize them in a particular order, disable audio of a video, add videos in a sequence, etc.
- You can edit video and audio using slice tool, rate stretch tool, crop tool, zoom, blend tool, snapping, speed/duration editor, transform (opacity, anchor point, position, scale, and rotation), etc.

To add media files, it supports various formats including AVI, MPG, MPE, MPG, WMV, MPEG, ASF, WAV, MP3, WMA, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, etc. After importing media files, drag them to the timeline. You can expand video track to view and manage respective transition and audio. It lets you mute the audio of the original video and add a new audio to the video. You can now add video effects (Blur, Ease In, Ease Out, Fade In, Fade Out, Brightness (Decrease/Increase), Film Age, Film Grain, Pixelate, Mirror, etc.) and video transitions (Bars, Bow Tie, Checkerboard, Circle, Diagonal, Diamond, Dissolve, Fade, Fan, etc.), create titles and credits, and make an automovie.
